Moments
i looked down at a lovely dictionary
only because it was opened to the quantum
page
only because i sat on a lovely, antiquated
memory
and realized the actuality
of forgetting everything
as i sat on the edge of coronal masses
frying the egg eyeballs
of my closest friend
moving through fields of fresh
juniper pollen
insects become bioluminescent
and they are dead
and flat
between the pages
this dictionary is alive with the pulp
of forgotten vegetation
my car runs on dinosaur blood
cretacious and waiting
looking out a thin glassed window
i feel the energy moving
going out to the tough dogs
with torn ears
and bulging memories
life is hard
on memory lane
with flower entrails
