Moment of Reverie

Sometimes when its late in the day,
and I don’t have many words to say . . .
I like to listen to your voice.
The softness of your words, are easy on my mind,
if I couldn’t hear or see you, I’d rather be the blind.
I need to listen to your voice.
When you at times decide, your voice to turn away,
When you have other things, & nothing more to say.
I wait to listen to your voice.
As time between us passes, & the days are dryly long,
I wonder what is on your mind, what is in your song.
I long to listen to your voice.

I long to listen to your voice... until you start talking!! Good one.. Empty vessel needs something to fill, full one needs to cast away something..
