Moment of Realization

dawn’s stillness
early lightfall
at my feet
my body aches
I slip out of bed
I shiver
the angels have fallen
a part of me has died
a part of me is gone
left with realization
my love
I’ll never see her again
my love
left with realization
a part of me is gone
a part of me has died
the angels have fallen
I shiver
I slip out of bed
my body aches
at my feet
early lightfall
dawn’s stillness

A sad but powerful poem. Pity to lose love.

A very melancholy write and full of emotion. But as I always sat, we meet people who may touch us ever so briefly and they may move on, but each one has enriched the others life in some way. Nice write Mike. Maria

Sad. I hope you can recapture what you have lost. Pain is a hardship.
