Moment For Love

Your sad eyes made their piercing plea
in a forlorn moment of humble reverie
I stroked your matted fur so willingly
and cradled you as you licked my face gratefully.

Very nice poem. I was thinking maybe you found a dog. I'm one of those people who will stop to help an animal. Well, unless it's a bear :) Thank you for liking my Light OF Angels :)

A charming and delightful poem Laura. I adore dogs. Not actually a monorhyme tho. All ending words need to rhyme with first ending word to be a monorhyme. 7; )
