Moment

I had a moment with my daughter just the other day
we had to drop her sisters off and just be on our way
with her pj's and some boots on we walked out the door
she even put some lip gloss on and she is only four...
my little mama so much drama dam she is a mess
its gonna be so hard to see her in a wedding dress
as she climed up in the font seat and we said goodbye
she asked to go but I said no and then she starts to cry...
I lost my temper I remember then I slammed my hand
with her head between her knees she jumped as it landed
but at that moment some component of my inner self
took the anger and decided its best up on a shelf...
Then I asked her to come closer and she did comply
she looked at me with her mothers face and so I dried her eyes
I told her I was sorry then I kissed and asked to hold her
she climed the seat sat next to me with her head laid on my shoulder...
