Momas Cave
Moma said come out of there
She said you better watch out just beware
Of that person who wants to steal your heart
Run it through the mill
Rip it apart
She had been there and done that
Had worn many hats
Worn many shoes and lots of dresses
Got lots of men but the wrong caresses
Touched by and never fulfilled
Tainted thoughts and unnatural will
Broken by the cave she was trapped in
Her mind so sore from all the sin
She was tired of carrying images of them around
So she walked on in the best place in town
The house of peace
For her release
The spirit told her she had to leave
All that mess in her inside of her cave
At the pulpit or it would put her in an early grave
She dropped all her thoughts and tribulations
At the steps of purification
She turned around and walked away
Spirit don't leave cave get outta my way
A foolish mind can wither your heart
But a sound mind will always listen to the tribal charts
They guide and protect all that's been given
So we can make the best decisions
Moma's alright
