Mom Has Left Us

A song was heard
The tune was great.
He spoke to her,
"Come home, it's late".
        So
She has taken a Journey
That could not wait.
Your Mom is standing
At Heavens Gate.
Be glad that she's there,
She suffers no more.
Her pain has all left her
She has knocked at Gods door.
His voice gently beckoned
It guided her above
And as she looks back
She left you her love.

Beautifully written poem Virginia. My mother left on her journey as well and it is comforting knowing both where she is and that she is finally and forever pain free. John
