Mom
Mom you were faced with adversity
Since the day I was conceived
My Biological father told you something
I could not believe
He told you to abort me
but you said never
You stood your ground
and promised yourself better
You have always stood so strong
especially in times of strife
You truly are the greatest woman
in my life
I have seen you rise from adversity
on so many occasions
You made sure we stuck together
with your loving persuasions
I seen you cry and you crying I cannot
Witness again
I want to repay you for the decision
you made back then
I wish I could give you everything
your heart will ever desire
Because you are an amazing woman
who chooses to inspire
You are not only our mom
you are also our DAD
I wouldn't trade you
for all the riches I wish I had
When you smile and tell me
everything will be okay
I believe you Mom
because you made us that way
I am proud to be who I am
the son of only a Mother
And I love my sister
and my little brother
We have been through so much
it is hard to discuss it all
But I thank you now for being there
every time I would fall
You have made me the strongest man
I have ever met
I am you and everything you have taught me
I will never forget
I wanted to tell you how truly grateful
I am to have you by my side
You showed me to stand up and fight
never run and hide
I am proud to be your son
I will never let anyone do us any harm
Because you made us this way
We love you MOM
