Mom

Mom I miss you,
 didn't want you to go
 I love you so much
 I'm sure that you know.

 Things are so different,
 then they were before
 and with each passing day
 I'm needing you more.

 I'm doing alright,
 sometimes I do cry
 but I pick myself up
 because I understand why.

 I know you're okay,
 your pain is all gone
 and I'll see you again
 when I finally come home.
