Mom
I feel like a child
When I try to express it
I want my mommy
And that says it best.
She's hardly ever around.
I need her at home.
She's a great friend
And I miss her so.
We watch our shows,
She keeps Dad in line.
I help ease her stress,
And she fixes mine.
She's a busy woman
But she handles it well.
Tries to keep balance
But something has to fail.
She goes to school
She goes to work
She stress all the time.
But where do I fit in?
I'm not trying to be selfish,
though I know I really am,
I'm just a young girl,
I'm doing the best I can.
