Modern Day Zombie

The modern day zombie Is folk like you and me Keeping real life at bay Living a virtual reality One day we will awaken To see where we went wrong Our social skills have been taken We've been plugged in for way too long Walking around in a daze Sleepwalking through life Partaking in the current craze Mind blunter than a plastic knife We're all becoming braindead Happy with our little distractions Living in a world inside our head And never taking action.
