Modelmakers' Christmas Meeting
The days are shorter: dark, cold, dim...
We will not venture out on whim...
Fortunately our stash is still there
For easy access from our favorite chair
Making virtue of inclement climate
Suggests a suitable assignment:
Dig out that lot of builds unfinished
Each set aside when lust diminished
Kits bought and started in joyful pride
Which faded... kits then set aside.
If now completed, for Show-and-Tell table
They'll justify and make us able
to claim Christmas wishes are just so
we realize now our stash is low.
Santa balks at being asked to bring you even more of
things you now have too many or too much of
Meanwhile we must organize
December 9th: prioritize!
Making contributions to not just be passive guest
But add to bounty at our meeting:
SUGARFEST!
