Mkay

She doesn’t seem
To want to be held
She’s beginning to think
I don’t appreciate
The comfort she provides

We’ve been at this for some time now
You’ve been gone for some time now
By the time you make it back
To where I am
You’ll be gone again

I don’t seem
To want to be held much
You just can’t turn me off
And turn me on
Or turn me on just to turn me off

I’m not angry
I’m not that far from anything
I may see you later, I may call
And I just may not come back at all

We’ve been at this for some time now
You’ve been gone for some time now
By the time you make it back
To where I am
You’ll be gone again

I don’t think I’ve ever been held
By someone and not something
I’m not sure I’ve ever been forgiven by love
I don’t know if I’ve been callused
Or I just can’t really feel
