Mixed Drinks

Mixed Drinks

While sitting at home all alone,
a voice in the darkness began to say;
let's go party let's go play,
I looked around for those who spoke,
low and behold it was my friends
Rum and Coke;
but they weren't alone,
for in the corner, wearing sly grins
were my other two friends,
Jack and Gin;
looking to get me in trouble again,
one had my coat, the other my keys
dragged me to my Car,
while ignoring my pleas…
six hours later, waking up in my cell,
confused, and hung over as hell;
looked around for my friends
not surprising,
I was alone again.
