Misunderstood

By you everybody
you treat me like I'm an outcast
I tell you I'm only misunderstood
I'm normal, i can read, and write,
I'm not dumb.
Misunderstood
You should know how it feels
to have people point and stare
"She's a Hoe they say."
yet I'm only
Misunderstood
My family doesn't even know me
yes I love guys and girls
yes I love the way I dress
my clothes express me.
I'm only Misunderstood
by you & them
and sometimes
EVEN ME!!!

Love the ambiguity of the last two words, demonstrating angst and confusion concerning self identity, perhaps some inner conflict worth exploring further.et
