Notes About The Poem

"Misty Dawn" by award-winning photographer Shahbaz Majeed.

Misty Dawn On Loch Rusky

beneath a blushing sky
two idle boats
savour
the bliss of solitude
our fingers entwine

[Inspired by Shahbaz Majeed’s "Misty Dawn".]

The imagery in your poem is simply stunning Paul. Such a romantic write of hushed serenity. Captivated as I am, I again linger and savor the feelings of your blissfully poetic lines. An amazing pic as well. Warmest wishes dear friend.. ~Susan

Thank you, Susan; your poetic comments are a pleasure to read...and to savour:) In this case it was the picture which inspired the poem. Sending you warm regards, my friend. // paul

7. When I read something like this - and it's not all that often - all the myriad colors of space look down and smile. Such beauty in such a perfection. Cheers, Paul.

Being offshore in a boat can be quite the romantic experience, Paul, and your poem is a beautiful description that goes well with the photograph. Some of the most romantic moments I can remember were on the boat I owned. I love the photo as well as the poem. A fave for me! Hugs, Carolyn
