Mists of Time

In the Swirling Mists of My Mind
I Have Been Lost for So Many Years,
 Moving Here or Maybe There,
and Clarity Would Only Bring Tears.

 Time Has Finally Healed Me
Oh, but it Moved So Slow.
 It Seemed it Took Forever,
 to Recover from the Blow.

I Was Hit Hard on the Head,
 I Went down in Vietnam,
for Awhile I Was Missing in Action,
I Had Got Too Close to a Bomb.

I Woke up in a Vietnam Prison
but My Mind Refused to Work,
 I Wasn't Able to Talk.
All I Remember Is the Hurt.

 My Buddies Got Me out
and Made Sure I Got Sent Home,
I Have All of Them to Thank,
but I Can't Do it on My Own.

We Always Took Care of Each Other.
It Was "All for One and One for All"
Now It's Time to Thank My Friends.
Their Names Are on the Wall.
