Mistral Winds

Driven by the Mistral wind My soul vanquished by the sea On a course that has no end Still, where I was meant to be Mesmerized by ocean tides As if Heaven here on Earth Lonely though, my heart abides I sail further from my birth Weathered by the salty brine Now my life's adrift and free Cradled on this boat of mine Mistral Winds still carry me

This is one of my favourites of yours, Randy. It just feels right, reads right and I like the sentiment and the format. A punchy rhyme. And I like the story element to your poetry too. (gonna fav)
