Mistakes tonight, regrets tomorrow

Verse1
He came to the club
He was looking for fun
He tried to find somebody nice (he saw me)
He said, "Hi, what’s up?
Are you down for a chat?
I’ll buy you another drink"

Pre-chorus
I thought ''I know how this would go''
But he smiled in a way I just couldn’t say no

Chorus
Mistakes for tonight
And regrets for tomorrow
I think I could love you
I’m kinda unsure
I’ll probably hate you
But only much later
I know

Verse 2
Long talks and slow dances
I’m lost in your fragrance
I can’t take my eyes off you
I’m feeling so special
And I have no question
Why I do the things I do

pre-chorus
I know it won’t last for long
But I’d rather try than lose it all

Chorus
Mistakes for tonight
And regrets for tomorrow
I think I could love you
I’m kinda unsure
I’ll probably hate you
But only much later
I know where it goes

Bridge
These stories don’t happen to a woman like me
I’ve heard them all from friends and magazines
I know how to avoid those fun-looking guys
But why do we play the same game every time?

Outro:
Mistakes for tonight
And regrets for tomorrow
I’m here, right now In your arms, there’s no sorrow
I don’t want to ask myself “what if”
At least I’ll be left with this motif
