Mistaken

I care about it,
I care about truth,
I care about life,
I care about you,

I had the choice,
To be happy and free,
But instead I am caged,
Such an ignorant me,

I thought you were kind,
Pure,
Honest,
And Clean,
But I proved myself wrong,
No life is serene,

I thought that you cared,
About the strength to move on,
But your powerless failure,
Proves me I was wrong,
