Mission Impossible - the Prequel

I bet they laughed, I bet they howled 
I bet Winston Churchill growled
Where’d you get this loony from
He’s talking ’bout a bouncing bomb

All the drawings all the plans
All the notes and telegrams 
Tell what happens when one slams
Barrels into concrete dams

Laden heavy for the flight
Nineteen bombers in the night
A secret plan too mad to warrant?

First a trickle then a torrent
