Missing You Daddy

Splinters scattered everywhere, broken furniture and chandelier. The stench of alcohol fills the air, with a lifeless body in a rocking chair. I begged you to stop and you said that you would, you promised me daddy that life will be good. It was after you told me that  I understood, but you said you'd get help and I told you you should. Crying won't help me now that you're gone, neither was listening to our favourite song.  Your place is right here, with me you belong, I am missing you daddy, you've broken our bond.
