Missing You

In the heat of the cold
I searched a hand to hold
I laid alone and lonely
With thoughts of my one and only

I felt your warmth from a distance
My face lit in an instant
Still alone as one
Cold and loneliness gone

I yearn daily for you
Like the morning the dew
We may be seven worlds apart
We are united at heart

With faith unwavering
And hope unflinching
We would turn back the hands of time
We would be together for all time
