Missing You

Every time you kiss me goodbye,
My heart just hits the floor.
It makes me want to scream and cry,
I don't want to be without you anymore.
It may just be a matter of hours,
But to me it feels like years.
With every hour that you're gone,
My heart sheds one million tears.
I sit and visualize your face,
Your voice echoes in my ears.
I want you laying here with me,
To ease my troubles, pains, and fears.
When you're gone my smile is gone as well,
My happiness quickly fades away.
But knowing I'll soon see you again,
Gives me something to look forward to each day.
The one thing that keeps me going,
Is knowing your love for me is true.
That stops the time from passing by so slowly,
But nothing could ever stop me from missing you.
