Missing You

I lay here in an empty bed
As my constant tears blur the rain,
My mind races as I fall asleep
Nothing helps to ease the pain.
The morning comes I feel such dread
I want the day to quickly end,
Hoping tomorrow I do not wake,
So I can be with my husband again.
What I seem to feel the most
Is hopelessness and fear,
I would give my whole life,
For a seconds to have you near.
My days are long, nights are lonely,
My life shattered, that I once had.
The two questions that haunt my mind
What's my purpose ? why is life so bad ?.
