Missing You

I miss you real bad
Being without you makes me sad.
You seem so far, yet I know you’ll be back
I wrote you some letters in a neat little stack.
They speak of love so deep within
So where do I start? Where do I begin?
My love for you runs over like a waterfall
When my heart cries out does yours return the call?
When I look in your eyes, in mine does the love shine through?
Or does it seem gray or a little faded blue?
But that can’t seem true for my heart you see
Is bubbling over with God’s love and beauty.
I look at your face and the softness it shows
It tells me too, how your heart overflows.
With the love for me that you hold inside
Your words or nothing, your love it can’t hide.
Our hearts beat strong with this love you see
And everyday I thank God that you love me.
