Missing You......
Why aren't you here?
I sure could use your help.
Your daughters so beautiful.
Grown up so fast, so fine.
The diapers you changed when she was young.
The games you played and books you read.
She still needed a dad throughout the years.
The good times, the bad.
The laughter, the tears.
I miss daddy, the words I did hear.
When you were here, you did the best that you could.
She`s Daddy's Baby Girl, without any doubt.
Until one day there was a knock at the door.
It was news from a friend.
You weren't with us any more.
They said there was a fire and you had died.
Trying to save your sister.
Who also didn't survive.
And so your Baby Girl, really misses her dad.
And to this day, when she thinks and speaks about you.
Tears fill her eyes.
But she doesn't`t let anyone know she`s going to cry.
She hold those tears back till she`s all alone.
And thinks of her Daddy.
Who has been in her heart all along.
