Missing You

Was a sitting there
Without a care
Must of been a Sunday
Living life a fun way
You by my side
Our little one smiling wide
Her blond hair in a halo
There in the sun's glow
Life was putting on such a show
Her little smile so bright
Both of you next to me in the sun light
This was how the world was meant to be
All that was good there before me to see
A tear falls as I realize I but dream
Life wasn't as happy as it did seem
I reach out to hold you
And my heart turns blue
I grasp empty air
So unfair
Lost you so long ago
But the pain still does show
The two ladies I did love
Sent to him above
So I reach out to hold
Empty air seems so cold
I've gown old
Missing you two
Time hasn't flew
The pain hasn't died
Nor has the tears dried
I still cry
Ask God why
No reason I'm told
My heart grows cold
I've stayed alone
No love shown
I stay true
To the both of you
My baby and my wife
You both were my life
I miss you
My heart will forever be blue

Prayers for your loss... Well written, moving and full of emotions... hard to accept, and never to understand. Well done. Ann
