Missing You

Oh, how I wish for you to be right here,
To wipe away my tears, to take away my fear,
So many longing songs unsung remain,
I wish I wish I wish in vain.

Too many mountain peaks are in my way,
What should I do, what should I say?
So many unquenchable tears of joy and pain,
So many sad dances danced in the rain.

So many ghosts still in my past,
My soul is sinking pretty fast,
So many dreams still to be dreamed,
Please, tell me can I be redeemed?

Frozen angels watch me crying,
The night it’s dark, cold, terrifying,
Oh, how I wish for you to be right here,
To hold me tight, to keep you near.
