Missing You
MISSING YOU
The silence is endless,
But there is noise.
The bird sits there chirping,
He plays with his toys.
The dog lies there sleeping,
With just one eye shut.
A four legged monster,
A lovable mutt.
As I sit there watching,
The pets I adore.
There’s still one thing missing,
One thing I want more.
It’s you my dear husband,
My darling my life.
It makes me so happy,
Just being your wife.
I love you so deeply,
With all of my heart.
More so on days,
When we’re so far apart.
That’s why the silence,
Just goes on and on.
Because we’re a couple,
But here sits just one.
