Missing My Old Friends

I am writing this masterpiece Addressing this poem to my old friends It was like yesterday when we just met Back to those days of innocence When we had little social gathering at the college lobby Thinking about future and made a promise A promise that our circle will keep on going Though we knew that distance and time will separate us Those days were the best memories to cherish Every little secret was a silly story to tell Though there were many times we saw tears falling on our cheeks We managed to laugh, love and be well Because that's what our circle should be Through best or worst, we're unstoppable! So now we have separate roads to follow I wonder where did friendship put our good memories Now I see that our lives are ever changing Do we still share the same philosophy in life? Now you have good looking husbands at your side Can we still find time to be together? Do we still have the moment to share the same food and talk nonsense things? Something that will make us crazy all day Forget that we already have our own job Forget that we are already the superior at home Be little kids and do foolishness all over again? Walking around and look for someone who could be grabbed and be our date? Probably...Probably...Probably not. I am pondering where this is poem going I wonder if this poem will bring me to you Letting you know how I miss your stupidity Your heartbreaks, your pranks, everything... But don't you ever think that I turn my back on you Because every single moment in my life I always have the thought in my mind Someday we'll meet in crossroads We'll reunite yet we'll realize We are already a person with conviction Made by struggles and test of time A diplomatic one who talks more about reality Than an idealist who always talks something about fantasy But how I wish we'll go back to eighteen Back when we were young and had good times to tell LeiStrauss2017
