Missing For Tea

The days could be counted all spent well
Windows safely locked at nights
You guard every door
Until…………

Fun was always … no time was planned
Dinners were delicious, coming from your hand
Our knowledge we both share
Until ………….

We participated in each other’s family life
You promised a ring…… the title of a wife
24 hour protection received
The happy moments I wish to re-live
Until …………….

Clothes washing and cleaning were both our chores
When at the beach, we stuck to the shores
Giving reassurance for the coming day
Forever in each others arms we will stay
Until…………
