Thanks for your comments. Memories are likely flawed as time passes and we forget parts, filling in the blanks with what seems to make sense. Regardless, It still matters as much as emotion and thought give to it. The leaves seem to only be linked seasonally, but if they held on forever they certainly wouldn't scatter.
