Missing

Missing the way things were
Missing how my heart skipped a beat when you texted me

How you would surprise me with a phone call when you were alone

Snuggling with you all day

sharing good and bad times with you

Saying I love you and meaning it for once
Hearing you say it in return

Hearing you voice

Seeing your face

The feeling that I could text you whenever

How you were the one man who though you sometimes did not understand me
accepted me without reservation

Feeling like I mattered to you and had some sort of impact in your life.

I miss having you as my best friend forever and just hope I have not lost that.
