Notes About The Poem

Written - 5th March 2026

Miss you Mom

Alike a butterfly in flight You drifted off to paradise A journey to rainbows end Leaving broken hearts to mend. Always on you I could depend My cares and sorrows you would mend You brought the light to my dark days And lifted my heart in many ways. Today I miss you more than ever If only we could get together So I could have my mother’s love Today I’m in need of a huge hug. I hear your voice call from up above I smell the fragrance that you so loved I see you in both the moon and stars I reach out and I touch your heart. I know that one day we’re sure to meet Keep safe and sleep in heavenly peace Until the day our hearts entwine In the house of our Lord Divine.

what a touching and poignant tribute. I miss my mom as well. She's been gone 20 years, but a day doesn't go by that I don't sense her presence here with me.
