Miss You Always

This day when you have gone, 
to a better place that one has ever known,
 I wish I knew you are happy there, 
and I could tell you that we will persevere,

You have been a source of love and inspiration,  
for all of us to live life in full admiration,
 We grieve for the loss of you as a friend, 
the void that will take years to mend,

We wish you peace and give our thanks, 
for giving your love to all ranks,
We will thrive and your name will live,
for you gave us, all you had to give.
