Miss You
Sitting here wondering,
Where you are.
Wishing I could see you,
But you’re just too far.
I really didn’t know who you were,
Or what you were like.
I wish someone would’ve tried,
To make things alright.
You went away,
Thirteen years ago.
What you did was selfish,
And really damn low.
You hurt the people who cared about you,
And you affected all our lives.
I wish you wouldn’t have done that,
I wish you would’ve tried.
You won’t be here to watch me grow,
Or to see me graduate.
You won’t be here to walk me down the aisle,
Or watch me go on dates.
I hope you miss me, Daddy,
Because I miss you so much.
When I get to heaven,
We’ll walk hand-in-hand and such.
