Miss Priss Too Pretty To Wed

Was she gray or pink? The toms could not really say. But they watched her swish, and fully sashay. She had an attitude that said I’m a fine cat. They fought over her attention at her welcome mat. The toms were totally gaga and utterly smitten With Miss Priss, a dainty, sweet, adorable kitten. She knew her power and put it on strong. She led all the toms to glory, which was wrong. Her mother told her she was playing with fire. She said the consequences could be rather dire. Miss Priss ended up an old maid, without a man. When toms went on to find their wives, they actually ran.

A spot-on metaphor, Caren. So true of so many young ladies who go about finding love in all the wrong ways.
