"misplaced Kitten
There is a Kitten on my fire escape today...
Cold and hungry and a little out of place...
She seems to be lost and a tad bit fray...
I pray she comes in so I can sooth her soul today...
Maybe a warm cup of milk and a story to be told...
Tattered and sad she seems, the world has been cruel...
I want to hold her in my arms and keep her safe and warm...
Her frown is long and here faith was taken by this storm...
If my words can heal, I'd write till the end of time...
If my arms could be your shelter then stay in mine...
Please come back inside for there is more to share...
Because you know my dear Kitten how much I care..
