Misery
Misery
Written: by Tom Wright

When affairs of life aren’t going right,
I try to reminisce about the good times.
Past lingering notions of feeling contrite,
To rest in my psychological paradigms.
But pages once turned I cannot abridge,
For no more will they pass my way again;
Seems I’m left to surmount a moving ridge,
With thoughts that I’m unable to constrain;
