Miscommunication

I went to the hospital
on Friday night,
I walked into the room
it was quite the sight.

I saw my nephew standing there
with a huge smile on his face,
I walked over to him
held him in a long embrace.

I had all sorts of questions
the baby's full name, how much he weighed,
the baby wasn't born premature
born a week early, my nephew did say.

I was happy to hear that
miscommunication isn't the key,
it's good to ask questions
in this day in age you see.

I was told my great nephew was born premature. I asked his dad (my nephew), and he said the baby was born a week early. Liam was supposed to be born on Mar.4/2016.
