Miscarriage

Miscarriage 

An expectation is no more
a loss
a sad breakdown
a failure of survival
an unexpected expulsion
pain
as the mother cries relentlessly
hurting
stressing
lamenting
mourning
weeping
an angel is no more
a beloved will not be received
plans ruined
what a disappointment
to family and friends
because of a shameful miscarriage.

I know women who have experienced it and they never fully recovered from the devastation of loosing their child. Miscarriage is really a sad experience for both the woma and family at large as they expected a child. Thanks for the good response to the poem.
