Mirror the Sky
Surrounded by an unseen layer of blindness
While in my hands I hold a thousand pricks
Colliding waves in compounded darkness
Your vision completes my palms’ empty cracks
A thousand millennia have since washed-up
All the wonder carved in rock at your shore
Precious stones display with no mind to pickup
Amass only for their natural beauty to soar
I’m swallowed by your sheer monstrosity
To unknown depths by your tireless current
Diluted into the food chain to anonymity
My soul’s complexion a ceaseless torrent
I emerge a solid bone formed of liquid
To flock the darkness of space like ravens
With wave after wave of nuclear rapids
Raise the deep blue brightly into the heavens
