MIRROR LOVE

My love, I looked through the mirror, and you were on the other side. Your words mirrored some of mine, you used a lot of the words I said and that was a shock. You said I was your muse, that I helped you out of a stupor. That you were so happy that I was your cure, turning pain into petals, making you feel cured. But now I know, I see, that I was just another one, on your long list, of wife’s. I must thank you, for being you, for having such an open presence that I see you for you. I did have some fun, and learned some thoughts, on why you are the person now. I heard you, saying I hate you, is that because I see you. That I would not play, your fool, because love is not for fools. Makes me wonder if Adam did the same to Eve, leaving her at her moment of need. For what is love, it suppose to fit like a glove, and you did fit my love. Your hands are filled with dirt, for all the ugly things you did and made me hurt. The tears I cry for you, are like the river running toward you. The pain of feeling your lies, made me glad, that I live so far. I will not lower myself to hate you, because I know love is always the way. I will pray and pray, that the sun and love burn all of your ugly ways. Lifting prayers to God, for all that have been burned by love and now learn how to fly high like a dove. For true love is always forgiving, and kind and never dies, it lives on and on throughout time.
