Mirror Glass
We are an ocean away from being as one
I see the sunset today and I’m having fun
I feel the silence ripple the waters of noise
Your saturated silhouette shines oh so poise
Then, I stare vacantly at the mirror glass…at the mirror glass…
Hold your breath in the flames and wander toward the grass
Remember me as I recall reflecting on the shadows of the unknown
You are far away, yet so close in embraced elegance on the phone
I am in agony and I need help right now, so speak to me, God Most High
I am apparently lost and never found somehow, so deliver me or I'll be nigh
Find me in the weeds in which I found myself in…entangled in lies below
Find me in the waves of utter oblivion once again…let some light show
I am bleeding out lovely remorse
Things are getting out of course
But, your peace makes me feel airborne in ascension's ambition
Speechless to say the least; however, I am forever in His vision
Erase the past of hatred and dread altogether
Let me float and whirl in the wind like a feather
Drowning in the depths of the sea of ecstasy
Fear not, for love will guide us oh so graciously
I am stuck in place, never once free in precious space
I am still trying to find my place in His glorious grace
Give me a reason to believe in myself again…please do
Give me a reason to reflect back at the mirror glass too
