Mirror

Whenever I look in the mirror, I see me standing there, And see a little clearer, And know who will be there, But sometimes it might be hard, To look at yourself and be glad, To know that you are scarred, And to not be so mad, But when you stand beside me, You help me to understand, That I may not always agree, And thing get out of hand, When things start to turn gray, And at times I am afraid When things don’t go my way, And I sometimes felt betrayed, I know that you will be there, To help me through the pain, To help through the despair, And to help me regain, The life I once had To stop looking at the past, And not get so raving mad, But try to have a blast, With the life that I am living, To try and be free, And not reliving, My mirrored life of me
