Mine Friend Benny

I have a friend his name is Benny
Hours of laughter, we have had plenty
We have had good times around the old plant
I would call and say,are you going in? I ain't
Sometimes I'll call and say,how are you doing "Ole Buddy"
He will say pretty good, sometimes the road is a little muddy
He is a pretty good boy as boys goes
What he'll do next, no body really knows
I'll say Benny, I have retired you know
I have to rub it in, as off to work he'll go
I have written some sad poems, but I've decided to write one with humor, and not
so one sided
But getting back to my ole "Buddy" we all know I would mischievous and try to still
the show some of the humor you may not understand but believe me, old Benny
and I can
Sometimes the ole boy will just drop in we will have coffee, and tell some jokes
again
We'll take on odd jobs just to make ends meet we just can't stand any kind of
defeat I haven't seen him for a while, but I will soon sometimes he travels when
there is a full moon.
