Mine

This black cloud That insists on following me Wherever I go I just can't seem to shake it But it won't consume me No matter how hard it tries I'm not like that It won't win Though the blackness Keeps enfolding me Each time it does I push it a little farther away Though it won't give in Neither will I Who will win this game? It's not a game, it's life And I'm taking it back One step at a time And soon this black cloud That insists on following me And trying to make me give in Will be sitting on the sidelines Watching me winning Though just one step at a time In the end it'll be gone And my life will be mine
