Mindfulness

Heart to heart, eye to eye sometimes words do pass by, thoughts encased and unseen, washed by tears sweet and clean! by park bench all alone, staring down slow Avon, she is sat worry deep, fighting hard not to weep! married guess? twenty three? lost love? wants to be free? I watch her from my bench, of her gloom have a hunch, though words between are few, silence speaks loudly too! saw her often in my walks, friendship grew without talks, one day she walked with me, on her face flicker of glee! end of month we were friends, guess how this story ends? she broke up with her man, she now has a new plan! heart to heart, soul to soul, sometimes love finds its goal, Avon flows still so slow, but has now a special glow!

Written with your customary wit, with flair and aplomb! Happy ending too!
