Mind Storm

Damnation the wind screamed as it tore through the trees Alone along the shoreline the frigid water to my knees The rain driving hard, angry and cursive, as I am soaked to the bone My mind aching, broken, in search of silence, a pillar, a stone I cast my sore eyes westward, eastward then back A bright flash of lightening, thunder signaling the attack I take my last breath as I fall into the abyss So simple it seems to let go of this
