Mind Storm
Damnation the wind screamed as it tore through
the trees
Alone along the shoreline the frigid water to
my knees
The rain driving hard, angry and cursive, as
I am soaked to the bone
My mind aching, broken, in search of silence,
a pillar, a stone
I cast my sore eyes westward, eastward
then back
A bright flash of lightening, thunder signaling
the attack
I take my last breath as I fall into the
abyss
So simple it seems to let go of this
